What is TAG you ask? TAG is a community service group, ran through the In Him Homeschoolers group here in the East Mtns. Every other month, we get together to do a community project, and on the off months we have a fun project. Community events have included; escorting residents from Princeton Place to the State Fair, cleaning at Ronald McDonald house, cleaning at Care Net Pregnancy Ctr storage facilities, decorating for Christmas at Princeton Place, etc. Our fun projects have included; bowling, movies, pizza eating, Hinkle Family Fun Ctr, pumpkin picking and hay-rides etc.
TAG meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month, with the exception of
August, that is the 4th Tuesday. Times of day vary, depending on the event.
We also have at least 3 fundraisers for the year, this money goes towards
paying for some of our activities, purchasing supplies the group might need,
as well as paying for all that participate in the fundraisers to attend TAG's
end of year party at Hinkle. (That's a savings of 35.00 per child.) There
will be a change this year, role will be taken at most events, just to insure
everyone has their share of service projects and fun projects.
